Who are we?
The Messy Patch is a dedicated children’s play space, perfectly located between Geelong and Torquay, where we believe that PLAY is so much more than just mess!
We’re all about giving little ones the freedom to play, explore, create and discover in their own way. With three different play zones across our indoor and outdoor spaces, there’s something to spark the interest of every little mess maker.
From imaginative and role play indoors, to hands-on exploration and sensory experiences, through to outdoor adventures filled with opportunities to get busy, creative and, of course, a little messy — every visit can be a different play experience.
The Messy Patch is suitable for sitting babies through to young primary-school-aged children. Our littlest visitors explore alongside their caregivers, with adults encouraged to get down, join in and help guide their play, while older children can build confidence and independence as they explore the space.
We’re not just about MESS — we’re all about PLAY.

Just a Reminder
Tickets & Entry
Just a friendly reminder when booking your visit to The Messy Patch.
All guests attending a play session must be booked, including adults and children. Sitting babies receive a discounted ticket, while crawlers and older children require a full child ticket. Babies in arms are free and do not require a ticket.
From time to time, we may run special promotions. These will be clearly shown on our website and may be automatically applied without the need for a discount code. Unless a promotion states otherwise, casual visits require an adult ticket.
Why do adults need a ticket?
While the kids may be doing most of the playing (although we know some grown-ups love to join in too!), every person attending counts towards our venue capacity. Adult tickets help us maintain a safe, clean, well-staffed and enjoyable play environment for everyone
